LINDEN -- Mrs. Ruth Royer, 45, wife of Kenneth Royer, died Saturday morning at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Feb. 21, 1908 in Montgomery County, Mrs. Royer was the daughter of Otto and Martha Jones. She married Kenneth Royer Feb. 21, 1932. She was a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church and New Richmond Chapter 377 of the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Wolf, of Wingate, and Miss Nadine Royer, at home; the parents, and two brothers, Mervin Jones, of Collinsville, Ill., and Robert Jones, of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the New Richmond Methodist Church, with burial at the New Richmond Cemetery. The Rev. A. A. Schenck will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the family home, two miles northeast of New Richmond.

NEW RICHMOND -- Funeral services were held from the New Richmond Methodist Church Monday afternoon for Mrs. Ruth Royer and were in charge of Rev. A. A. Schenck of Flora, a former pastor and Rev. Voris Servies, present pastor of the church. Mrs. Horace Blackmer of Ohio, who directed the choir for several years while Mrs. Royer was church pianist, presided at the organ and played several hymns including "The Old Rugged Cross" and "The Lord's Prayer." The many floral offerings were carried by the ladies of the Eastern Star. Pallbearers were John Bianconi, John Parlon, Roy Meharry, Robert Aaron, Hayden Shepherd, Elmer Hughes and Tom Oppy. Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery.
